Name: Library and Information Studies Alumni Association (LISAA) Scholarship

Deadline: July 15

Value: Approximately $1500

Number: Two

Eligibility: Two scholarships are awarded annually, the first to an entering student and the second to a continuing student. In each case, the recipient serves as a student representative on the LISAA executive. Any recipient is eligible for a maximum of two awards.

The second scholarship is awarded annually to a student continuing in the MLIS program who enrolls in at least four courses during the regular academic year (described above). It is granted on the basis of the completion of at least four courses and satisfactory academic progress. Their approval will be based on satisfactory performance of duties and obligations on the LISAA executive during the first year.
